6 Station Airbrush Holder with Build In Manifold

Awhile back I decided to start up a small Airbrush Tattoo business and needed a multi-station airbrush holder and manifold setup. I ran across this goodie made by Fenghua from China. It looked like a great piece of equipment. It's small, portable and not only would it hold 8 airbrushes but, it has a built in regulator and manifold. So, I ordered one.
This unit turned out to be a major disappointment, to say the least. The first thing I found wrong with it was the need to add adaptors to the manifold so an airbrush hose could be attached to it. I couldn't attach either an Iwata or Paasche hose directly to the manifold. The built in manifold with air adjustment screws seemed like a great idea, but those didn't work either. Each manifold had air leaks due to the adjustment screw not seating properly with the seals.

The swivel top airbrush holder seemed like another good idea. One unforeseen drawback was that the airbrush hoses became tangled very easily. Next was that the airbrush holders are paired off in different configurations. It's understandable why Fenghua did this because not everyone uses the same airbrush and they tried to accommodate everyone's need. There are to set up for bottle feed, 2 for siphon feed and 2 for side feed. Bad thing is, most people running multiple airbrushes are using the same airbrushes in line.
Needless to say, what could have been a very nice piece of equipment has turned into a $60.00 paper weight. I actually thought of making it a 6 station incense holder. Oh wait! if I reverse the airflow on the manifolds, maybe it could become a smokeless bartop cigarette holder.
