ARTIST PROFILE

MAGGIE LITTLEWOOD

At the age of 18,  Maggie Littlewood of Melbourne , Australia was dragged along to a car show, thinking it was going to be a long and boring day. But when Maggie saw the show cars she was amazed at the detailed artworks on them. Maggie thought it would be impossible for her to be able to do an airbrushed artwork like that, but she knew that she  had to give it a try.
With no money and no job at the time Maggie's parents had offered to buy her an airbrush and pay for some lessons. "They were extremely supportive of me.", says Maggie.
"I couldn't believe how quickly I picked up my airbrush skills, In just a few weeks of getting my first airbrush I was getting requests from everyone to airbrush them something, but I loved just airbrushing for myself. I had done eight hour day courses for three weeks straight. Now two years later I have completed every course my school has to offer.
I have only been airbrushing for two years but I know it is something I will be doing forever, and I hope to one day have a career in airbrushing.", concludes Maggie.
